Windows home or pro for VEP6?

Hi, I’m getting a new master PC and I wonder if I need Windows pro to run a master/Slave set-up with VEP6 through gigabit Ethernet? Or is home OK?

Hi,

If you have a master/slave setup, it can be very helpful (for me it is) to use Windows 10 Pro, if you work with one screen (using a KVM switch). In that case you can get the screen of the slave computer on your mastercomputer, and have the DAW on one side of your screen, and the Instrument on the other.

As long as the slave is running Win10 Pro, you'll be fine with Home on the master for using Remote Dekstop to control the slave.
