Alto Saxophone Switching Back and forth Between Trills and Legato

Hello,

I am having trouble getting my alto saxophone (extended library) to switch from trills to odinary/legato. If I write a trill in Sibelius, it own will not switch back. It forces me to delete the trill so it doesn't sound ridiculous later on. Is there a fix for this?

Hello Joel!

There has been a problem with resetting the trill Sound ID properly in some Sibelius versions. As far as I know the Sibelius team fixed this problem with the latest version Sibelius 8.6. I recommend updating to this version.

Dear Andi,

That's too bad; 7.5 is the most recent version that does not require a subscription, and I don't want to give them money for unnecessary updates. I suppose I'll have to hear the ridiculously-bad trills until I can pay more money.
