    Dear Paul,

    Sorry to bother you again!

    My VEP 6 (latest version) now start crashing. Attached text document is the error information. Could you please take a look and see if there is anything wrong?

    Logic does not crash, but only the VEP6. I only use about 12 voice instances, which used up about 7.2 GB memory.

    I wonder if it is my computer needs to be updated?

    I use a Late 2013 version iMac - 2.7 GHz, quad-core i5, 16 GB, and an external USB-3.0 drive containing all my VSL libraries.

    Unfortunately that's one of the cases where we cannot tell what is causing it. 

    Is there a way to reliably reproduce this crash? Did you try to eliminate some of the components yet?

    Hello again,

    Here, VEP crash every time my monitors go to sleep.

    My computer never go to sleep, only my 4k monitors. Then VEP quit. Very strange.

    I try to send you the error information.

    PS : Is there any solution to go back to the prévious version who was working well?

    The previous versions of all our software are available in the Software Archive.

    Would be interesting to know if the previous version fixes the problem - please send the details to support@vsl.co.at.

    Thanks Paul for all your help! It is very kind of you!

    Sorry for replying you so late! After several days of experimenting, I can say to you that although this new Bate version does ensure that my system will never crash again, it is definitely more stable than the previous one! It is probably because my Mac is not powerful enough. However, I did find a way to get around with this crash problem. First I found using multi-timbral plugin setting is more stable than the single-timbral setting. And, I found when my system is loading all the sounds, I would better not do anything before the whole loading process is finished. So I connect Logic to VEP when the template is fully loaded in VEP. 

    So thank you so much for this new beta version and I got my magic flute mock-up project done 2 days ago. Attached is a sample of it! Although I am very new to all these cool Softwares and mixing, I hope you would like it! If you have any comment, please let me know! Thank you for all of your professional expertise and warm-hearted personality to this community.

    Getting random crashes here as well - running stanalone, piped into Logic  - weridness - downgrading to about 6 months ago's version which was rock solid on Mac OS -
