  • Vienna Imperial

I could use a mute button, so that I could do A/B comparisons when I'm in a certain view.

    Thanks,

  • Hi ddunn,

I'm a bit slow: Could you explain the advantage of an integrated mute button to the channel mute button, please?

  • Hi Paul.  If you're slow, I'm not sure what that makes me.

In this scenario, I'm not using Vienna Imperial in VEP, but in the DAW, Digital Performer.

If I'm working on a strings (VEP)  and piano arrangement, and want to check the string mix without piano, I must leave the the sequence editor to mute the track in DP tracks view.  Back and forth.  I'm sure that there are other work arounds for this, but because screen real estate is such a premium, an automate-able mute button on the plugin would be useful.  Is the mute button on VEP presets automate-able?  That would do it.

    Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the state of the art libraries, VSL!

  • Hi ddunn,

    Thanks for the explanation.

Yes, Mute in VE PRO is an automatable parameter!
