    When I load Dimension Violins for Teledex Studio, I am able to select the MIRx preset in MIR PRO/VE PRO 6 . But I can't do this for Violas and other instruments. The MIRx selection is disabled. See screenshot here:

    Any idea why?

    Please download the most recent version of MIR Pro and install it. Updating VE Pro alone will not supply you with the latest changes of MIR Pro's configuration data.

    I did as you advised, but Violas are still disabled for MIRx presets.

    Can you please take a look and tell us the creation date of MIR Pro's setup file? It's called "Default.vmi" and should reside in [System]/Library/Application Support/VSL/Vienna MIR Pro (assuming that you're using OS-X). ... should be from November 2016.

    The file-name is the same. Should be in in your Applications Data folder, if memory serves me correctly. (I'm mainly a Windows-person, too, but I have to work on OS-X most of the time when I'm in other studios - like this very moment 8-) ....).

    ... just do a search on your system for the file-name.

    I already did that before even posting here. It does not come up. Probably has a slightly different name.  Don't worry about it for now. I will find it and post back. Focus on what you are doing now! 😊

    Hi Nektarios,

    yes, I think I know what's going on there:

    Could you please press F7 to open the MIRx setting window and click:
    "Current MIR Pro Icon" ->  "MIRx SETTINGS"
    This should work and allow you to set the MIRx Preset "Orchestra" for the Dimension Violas.

    The context menu does not work here, since there is onle one MIRx preset available for Dimension Violas. I guess the context menu was designed to change the MIRx preset and not to initially set it. Since you cannot change this preset (since there is only one), the menu is disabled.

    I'll check if we can change the context menu and show all MIRx presets there - even if there is only one single preset available.

    Thank you! That actually worked! Although it would be nice being able to do it by right clicking (even with one preset). Maybe in the next update! 😊

    I already changed the menu, the next update should be available within the next few days.
