That sounds just about perfect! Trills sounded very natural. What a cheerful piece also.

This is a realization of Pietro Locatelli's Opus 4, No. 7, Movement 1.
It's scored for two solo violins, solo viola, solo cello and string orchestra. I used Solo Strings I Full, Solo Violin 2, and Chamber Strings Full.

Hi Leslie Sanford,
This sounds Amazing. very realistic, natural sounding, I also like the overal acoustic treatment.
Any info. on the acoustics/Reverb used here ?
Very well done.

Thanks, William! I love those performance trill patches VSL provides. Very natural, like you say.
Locatelli is a little bit of a recent discovery for me. I've been aware of his work for awhile, but I've just recently delved deeper into his music. His entire Opus 4 has been a revelation to me. He's definitely a first tier composer.

I used my Sanford Reverb plugin for the reverb with a medium sized theater/room. I recorded the piece using Reaper with each track panned to slightly different locations. I didn't want to pan too much because I don't like the sound you get when one section seems to be coming from one side of the room.

Hi Leslie Sanford,
Thanks for the feedback. Is the Sanford Reverb plug-in something you developed for yourself ? never heard of it if it is available commercially, is it ? It sounds very natural and transparent to me. Very Nice !
Cheers,

Thanks! It's a VST plugin I developed years ago. Not nearly as versatile or realistic as MIR, though.

Hi Leslie,
I'm so fond of baroque music and the lightness or playfulness of Italian baroque is always a feast to my ears. When it comes from a skilful person as you are, it's even more enjoyable. It is indeed a very realistic and natural soundig performance. As the audience, we're sitting in the front row experiencing every single detail.
Fantastic work! Thanksfor sharing it with us.

Wonderful! I am not familiar with this particular piece of Baroque music but I think Locatelli would be satisfied. Of course if he discovered a machine was playing the music he'd be doubly amazed. Nice job!

Unless you're hearing and/or seeing this performance live it really doesn't get any better than this. Very well done Lesley! And that reverb sounds pretty natural at least to my ears.
