Master: 2012 Macbook Pro, previously running Logic 10.2 & VE Pro 6 on Yosemite and working fine, now updated to El Capitan, Logic 10.3 - VE Pro 6 now longer working. Static IP address on ethernet network.
3 Slaves: 2012 Mac Minis running VE Pro 6 on Yosemite (not updated to El Capitan). Connected to Ethernet hub - still show as connected to Master, can access files between computers, but VE Pro 6 not connecting. Static IP addresses on all machines.
Previous Logic projects do not connect to slave instances as before. Slave instances do not show up in the "available instances" window of Master VE Pro server. Tried to manually connect VE Pro through IP addresses - does not work - "Connection Failed" error message every time.
Verified all VE Pro 6 software up to date - all computers running the same version. Uninstalled-reinstalled VE Pro 6 on Master computer. Still not connecting.
In Logic Pro 10.3, rescanned all Vienna Plug-ins. The first time it crashed Logic and said "Cannot find plug-in Vienna Ense". Upon restarts, no longer gives me that error, all Vienna plug-ins validated in Logic Plug-In Manager. Still not connecting.
Found previous thread on this forum that recommending trashing VE Pro preferences. Did that - still not connecting.
Any help?
UPDATE: I tried rolling back to VE Pro 5 on Master and one slave - no connection. I tried rolling back to Logic 10.2.4 - no connection. Very strange, since 10.2.4 worked flawlessly. Is it possible that moving from Yosemite to El Capitan changed some settings?
