    Ya know, for my money, nothing fills me up with more yuletide cheer than "Suspence and horror" instruments😶

    How about the screeching violins from Psycho?

    Or The Exorcist's tubular bells?

    Maybe VSL should really get into the Christmas spirit and sample a creepy theremin.  It's the gift that keeps on giving year after year folks😛

    On a serious note, I miss the animated snowflakes too.

    How about wet samples recorded at Synchron Stage?

    This way no one could complain anymore about the dry sound. 😃

    Maybe I don't know enough about this Synchron Stage and I realize there are different opinions concerning this matter but I like the idea that I can create my own sonic environments.  Plus naked dry samples are a trademark of VSL libraries.

    I don't understand the propensity some users have to want baked in reverb.  I guess it's all a matter of taste but if I wanted my samples to sound like Eastwest's I would just buy Eastwest samples.

    I guess VSL could record wet samples then give users the option but this would be a massive undertaken and even if Santa Herb and his elves Paul, Dietz, etc. worked 24 hours a day from now till Christmas I don't think they're going to make it.  Then again, Christmas is the time of miracles😇😇😇

    Does "Santa" charge for toys, now? Me thinks that Santa Herb is a capitalist, not a philantrophist. To me, the Christmas miracle would be free gifts for all 😊

    I am very happy with my VSL samples! Nevertheless, wet samples recorded at Synchron Stage would be an interesting experiment. Just my personal opinion.

    Actually the sweet deals Santa Herb offers every December are quite generous, if not philanthropist, IMO.  Well see.
