VE Pro 5 has been incredibly reliable and stable for me....
Except on Monday mornings.
Every Monday it cashes without fail. Always has done.
What happens if you give it a three-day weekend?

Except on Monday mornings. This is very odd but it crashes when loading both on my Mac and slave PC..
Every Monday it cashes without fail. Always has done. When I restart both the Mac and PC it loads fine. Any idea what's going on here?
Same problem here on ALL 12 of my VE PRO 5 computers. Every MOnday morning load the metaframe and it gets stuck....open task manager, end task and reload.....EVERY SINGLE MONDAY!

OS X:
- Open Activity Monitor
- Choose Vienna Ensemble PRO
- Click the small "i" in the upper left corner
- Click "Sample" in the lower left corner
- Save the file and send it to us
Win:
Create a process dump using Task Manager:
- Open the “Windows Task Manager”
- Select the “Processes” tab.
- Right click the process you wish to take a dump of.
- Select “Create Dump File”
- A dialogue will appear with the location of the saved dump (The file location can be selected and then copied and pasted).
Alternatively, use this approach.

Hi, Interesting. Any very exotic plug-ins or anti virus software installed? Best,PaulAVG Free is installed on the PC but that's it. Nothing on the Mac although whenever I launch VE Pro I get the "Do yo want the app VE Pre to accept incoming network connections.' I've checked under the OSX firewall advanced settings and VE Pro is there

As mentioned, EVERY Monday and ONLY on Mondays. VE Pro 5 (the last version,) crahes whilst loading my template metaframes. It always has done through numeorus OS updates/upgrades.
This is both on my Mac which hosts my DAW (Pro Tools HD,) AND satelite PC. I have to force quit on the Mac and I get a Windows crashe dialog on the PC.
After restarting both Mac and PC. VE Pro loads fine,
Log files for both Mac and PC attached. The eariler of the two I assume is for the crash, the later one is for the successful start up

I just upgraded to VE PRO 6 and it still has this problem.

When VE Pro CRASHES on Mac, please copy the crash report to a text file and send it to us, with a link to this case (support@vsl.co.at).
On PC, the crash dump of VE PRO is available here:
C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\VSL\Vienna Ensemble Pro\crashdumps\app
=> This folder is a hidden system folder, make sure that you see it: Organize => Folder and Search Options => "View" Tab).
IF VE Pro FREEZES, please send those hand samples and process dumps, as described in an earlier post.

Hi, Just a quick update, our developers managed to fix this bug (which had to do with the Update Checker) for the next update (not scheduled yet). Thanks for your input,PaulThat's great news Paul. However I assume this fix will only be for VE Pro 6? I've been meaning to upgrade anyway.
