    WOW it looks great ! Looking for it specially suggested by you 😀 Well i just have a question about the vibrato how could i control it? Is it like a patch or a fader?! And are there any way to use the ribbon control on the korg pa3x as a function in the vsl? THANK you for your quick reply you really have a great support BEFORE AND AFTER PURCHASING thank you mr Paul

    Hi, 

    Vibrato is always a tricky question.... It depends on how this is implemented in the virtual instrument. 

    With VSL instruments, you get lots of different variations (increasing vibrato, decreasing vibrato, different vibrato stages throughout different dynamic samples....) in the bigger collections, and you can use Cell X-Fade to crossfade quickly between different samples. 

    Ribbon Control is just another MIDI CC information, you can assign that to anything (also, e.g., to Cell X-Fade, if you like).

    Yes, TEControl is a great and more affordable alternative, with quite a range of products. I personally like the breath and bite controller 2 a lot, the bite provides an additional MIDI CC controller.

    Thanks for the recommendation! The breath and bite controller 2 also features tilting and nodding... But I'll have to think about whether it's worth the additional 70€ (+30€ for the headset?). Keep in mind: that could he another MIRx for instance :P Kind regards,Lukas

    You are right, that is indeed a lot of controlling to be done... So far, I have really checked out the Breath and Bite Controller 1 - and that kept me quite busy already. 

    Tough decision, but a breath controller is definitely a great addition to your means of expression when it comes to MIDI.

    Oh, I will definitely get one, that's for sure!! :) Just thinking about whether going "simple" or "advanced" - but I guess, additional control options are could turn out advantageous. :D

    I think the breath only model is now sold with headset included in the price, even though you can still buy spare headsets. This is great if more than one person uses it. The breath+bite 2 headset is integrated, but you can take the mouthpiece part off for washing. They are great controllers and work fantastic for both studio and live.

    Breath and Bite 1 is good (haven't tried 2.)  I slightly prefer my old discountinued Yamaha breath controller, it has a better feel when playing and is more adjustable.  If you want to perform your own vibrato nothing beats the EWI series if you can play it.
