    I was under the impression that there was an upgrade path from MIRX to the MIR Pro Venue Packs/Bundle, however I can`t seem to find any mention on your website. Are those discounts not offered any longer? Also do you sell any of the MIR RoomPacks as individual products, for example can I purchase just the Teldex from MIR RoomPack 2?

    I have limited funds and ideally I'm would prefer to purchase MIR Pro 24 and just the Teldex room, but I dont think this is possible. So I was thinking as an alternative (and as I save funds) that I would purchase the MirX Teldex as a sort of investment, and then upgrade later on if/when you have another sale. But if MirX Teldex does not have an upgrade path, it seems like a bad investment to me as I am one of those who really likes to tweak things and MirX, though great sounding out of the box, after demoing it I fear will ultimately be too limiting. 

    So basically I'm wondering:
    1) Is it possible to buy just the Teldex room for MIR 24

    2) is there an upgrade path for MirX to MIR RoomPack 2 (seen links in old community threads say yes, but they no longer work)

    3) Is this the first or last time you will have 25% off MIR and RoomPacks? 

    Any help and advice would be GREATLY appreciated. The answers to these questions will dictate if I will purchase anything today or wait until I can afford MIR 24 + a RoomPack. Thanks again!

    - The upgrade path from MIRx to MIR PRO is available by contacting support@vsl.co.at. However, the discount cannot be combined with the current promotional discount.

    - You cannot buy individual room from the RoomPack

    - I'm not sure if it is the first time they're offering 25% discount on MIR products but you can see the promotion of each month in the last year (2015) in the News Archive (https://www.vsl.co.at/en/News/News_Archive)

    As regard to your case, I would recommend MIRx since its sonic quality is exactly the same as MIR PRO. Still, there are some presets that you can play around, eg., Violin I Vivid, Violin I Warm, and a dry/wet knob.

    Thank you very VERY much for answering my questions! Since there is no upgrade path for MirX and since I cannot purchase single venues with MIR Pro 24, I guess I'll stick with what I have in Vienna Suite, which though it takes more work, is still capable of great results.

    I might purchase a single MirX for when I'm lazy or need quick results (with the current sale the price is right) , but I'm having such a difficult time deciding on which single pack as they all have their advantages. For example, I prefer the "noble / smoothness" of Teldex on things like Horns, Trumpets, clarinets and oboe, but Piccolo, Flutes & Low Brass really sing and have depth in Gateshead, and believe it or not, I seem to prefer the overall sound of my strings in the Mozartsaal + added reverb tail. I know the MirX bundle is on sale as well, but unfortunately the panning between packs / venues is so different that you kind of have to use all the room for at least instrument sections or your orchestral balance will be off. Which again is why I would love to use MIR Pro as I could adjust this, which again makes me confused and frustrated with the lack of upgrade for MirX and the inability to purchase single venues with MIR Pro it would cost too much to have all these venues...

    I will probably sit out this sale. :( But again thank you all for the clarification. Feel free to add more advice if you'd like to persuade me. :)

    Yay!  I did it, even though probably not financially prudent.  With three hours to go, plunked down the cash for the Vienna Software suite including MIR Pro.  I have been testing it out for almost a month, love that sound!  I really like the combo of MIR Pro and MIRacle!
