    I have SE 2 with VEP 5.4.13741 on a Mac trash can with OS 10.9.5, and have noticed that some articulations of solo instruments sound as 2 - specifically noticing on portamento with the velocity x-fade in the 60-70 range.   Is this just a limitation of the SE version of the instruments or are there controls I may be missing?

    I can't say for sure (Paul?) but if you are using a CC for crossfading there are times when you will hear a mix of the two samples. The velocity control, in my experience, keeps them distinct, but the price for that is that there is sometimes a bump between two adjecant velocities.

    Hi, 

    Yes, a crossfade means that you are overlapping velocities at some point. We tried to keep that region as small as possible, but problematic sections in the X-fade range can´t be avoided, especially with solo instruments.
