So my CPU has spiked to 90%+ for VE PRO/MIR PRO. Even though I increased my latency to 2048 on my host and MIR PRO to 4096. I also maxed out my threads to 32. Any idea how to bring this down? The UI has become sluggish and slow.
Thanks,

And the setting of the Audio Interface?
You also can switch the latency of it to 2048 (ca. 45ms delay) as long as you don't record anything which need to be controlled over a headphone 1:1...

The setting for my audio interface is 2048 samples. The spike I notice mainly on my VE PRO instance. Although, my Cubase shows relatively low usage. Seems like I am using too many plugins... 😕
Do you use (m)any VE Pro Audio Input plug-ins to route signals from Cubase to VE Pro?
I have 8 ports activated in VE PRO where each port (of 16 channels) is for an instrument, i.e violins. In VE PRO. I use many plugins, mostly VSL EQ/Compressors, but I also use other non VSL plugins, mostly from iZotope. On the master bus I added MIRacle too. Even when there is no playback, and is idle, it stays at 82%.
Where are your libs ? HD ? SSD ? Raid 0 of HD ? Raid 0 of SSD ?
SSD. I use the Samsung 1 TB SSD.
Did you reduce the pre-load buffer size in Directory Manager ?

I never changed that. My CPU started spiking after I started using Ozone 6 Pro Plugins. I use Ozone 6 Dynamic EQ / and regular EQ. I also use the Ozone Alloy 2. But why when it's idle, it's at 80%+?
Did you check if your system is paginating ?
Reducing pre-load buffer is freeing memory !
