Sibilius and Dimension strings not switching to Custom cells

I am using sibilius 7.5.1 on windows 8.1 64 and Sibelius: VSL Soundset Installer v.1.0.77 (Win). I am also using the VLS house style set specifically for Dimension Strings.

All of the articulations switch fine exept for the Custom cells. The sibilus VIPro presets for dimension violins have no long detache so I put that articaltion in custom cell K1. When I place “custom” or “custom1 in the score as outlined in the documentaion the articulation does not switch. All of the other text commands seem to be working.

Hello Dave!

Such a problem can have different reasons. Maybe you have commands from earlier in the score that are not reset and prevent the custom1 switch from working. I would try to put an "ord." or "normal" command before the custom1 command. More help can be found in the Troubleshooting chapter of the "Optimizing Sibelius Playback" manual.
