How does one create an orchestral templet using MIR Pro and instruments split between two computers in a Master/Slave configuration?
DP 8 is the DAW that I am currently using (although I do own and use Logic Pro X at times). I also own VEPro and have it placed on my two computers (noted in my signature line). I am in the process of creating a 60 to 70 instrument orchestral templet which are currently split between the two computers. I am using the Mac Pro has Master Computer which also houses MIR Pro. In using a mixture of VSL and non-VSL instruments, I have the strings and brass instruments coming from the Mac Pro (the master computer with DP 8 and MIR PRo). The wood-winds and and percussion are coming from the MacMini (and slave computer). If possible, I would like to have the VEPro handle MIR Pro. . . but I have it only on the Mac Pro (master computer). Is it possible to do this? If so, how? If not, what is the best CPU-sparing configuration within the master computer so that each of the 60 to 70 instruments split between the two computer can be assigned a "stage presence" using MIR Pro?
Thank you for your time and thoughtful comments.
