Issues with Finale and VE

I apologize in advance if this information is elsewhere, but i am having a heck of a time with Vienna Ensemble and Finale. First of all, I am getting Bank One playing back multiple lines, but the playback is all one timbre (even though the matrix is set up with multiple instruments and the standalone player plays each timbre correctly). I am unclear on how to set up additional matrices in order to correpond to bank 5 (as identified in Finale), for example. There is an additional window open and I tried to assign instrumemnts to that matrix, but it doesn't play back, so bank assignment seems nebulous. Thanks so much for any and all advice or links to documentation that i may have missed.

Hello Keith!

I have seen in our records that you have registered the Special Edition Volumes 1 and 1 PLUS. In order to switch articulations, I recommend using the Finale keyswitch dump file we provide in the MyVSL section under Notation related.

In order to play different instruments in one Vienna Ensemble instance, please add the number of instruments you need and make sure to set the channel numbers according to your settings in the Finale Instrument list. As Finale is not a VST3-compatible host, the MIDI port of Vienna Ensemble has to stay at "Omni" or 1 in all Vienna Ensemble instances.
