Cubase Expression Maps compatible with Remote app?

Hi Andy,

 

I am using Cubase 7, VEP5 on a slave machine and the remote app to control expressions.

When I have an expression map inserted on the Cubase track assigned to a Dimension strings patch, the matrix changes (vertical) are not recorded, only the horizontal changes. 

Is this normal?

Hello Ben!

Cubase ignores incoming MIDI Control Change data, if the same CC is used in the loaded Expression Map. Expression Maps are mainly ment for easier programming of articulation changes and not so much for live control. For live control you can use remote keys though which can be set in the Expression Map Setup menu.
