Issues with legato patches

For some reason my legato patches behave strangely now. I don't think I'd had these problems before but I can't confirm. So, the note usually replays once when I play the note out and if I play it out until the end of the sample and release the note, a sharp spike of the note will go off for about half of a second:

Would anyone know what my problem is and how to fix it? Thank you.

I'm not in the studio at the moment, so can't check your audio file, but when you say "spike" are you sure you're not talking about the release sample? An easy way to check is to switch off the release sample and then do your test again.

Hi, 

That´s specific to the Solo Strings, where we had to decide NOT to loop the legato patches. You can always hold down the sustain pedal and retrigger the note, this will initiate a bow-change as a repeated note.
