    Connect to the VST3 VE Pro in the VSTi Rack. That avails you of up to 48 ports, ie., 48 x 16, depending on your selection in VE Pro preferences.

    Thank you. I am still shown a list of 16 channels to choose from in my track. How do I fix this?

    Each port offers 16 channels. Select the port first. HTH,

    With this method, I now hear heavy clicking as I playback. My latency for MIR and Soundcard is 2048. I have 48 ports active with 24 being used (Dimension Strings).

    Managed to fix this by reducing the number of midi ports to 6, and partitioning my instruments among the midi channels. So port 1: 1-8, port 2: 1-6, port 3: 1-6, port 4: 1-4. The other two would be for my other instruments when I add.

    No, multiple MIDI ports is a VST3 feature.

    It's posible if you use the Event Plugin to add the additional ports to the instance.
