  • Sibelius 7.1.3. -VE - BFD2 (32bit)

    Dear Community,

I set up Sibelius with VE, which works in 64 bit Mode with two instances.

I would like to implement BFD2 also into the VE but  canĀ“t find the BFD2  in VE. Maybe it has something to do with 32 bit. Sibelius opens only 64 bit VE Instances.

How can I implement BFD2 in VE for use in Sibelius?

    THX

    Best regards

    Tim

  • Hello Tim!

It's not possible to load 3rd party instruments with Vienna Ensemble. This is an exclusive feature of Vienna Ensemble Pro. The VE Pro Server comes in 32-bit and 64-bit versions. They can also be opened parallel. So with the help of VE Pro you can load 32-bit and 64-bit instruments or plugins within one Sibelius project.

You can get a free demo license of Vienna Ensemble Pro here:

  • Dear Andi,

okay.  I like the results to be heard on VSLĀ“s composing contests. Is MIR envolved, too in the upper ranks? Sounds very open with tasteful rooms.

  • Hello Tim!

The music for the composing competition has not been mixed by us, but by the participants. So some used MIR Pro and some not. I can't say in which of the upper ranks it has been used.

    Best regards,
    Andi
