    I have always been confused by this and would like clarification please.

    In the introduction video of Dimension Strings you specifically say each violin was recorded with it's own microphone, and also the entire section.

    So where are the section recorded samples at?

    Each player has been recorded with a dedicated microphone, while they were all playing together at the same time.
