I'm trying to get a smooth legato sound from the Clarinets, without bumps in the volume during the transitions. Here's an example when I play
/B - Woodwind patches/46 Clarinets - a3/98 RESOURCES/03 Perf Speed variation/01 KL-3_perf-leg_sustain
at its default settings after loading it into VI Pro. All note-velocities are set to 19:

I'm sorry I couldn't get your link to work but I think it's my system.
You shouldn't be getting volume bumps with the performance legatos because the actual legato transitions between notes are sampled and you should be hearing those transitions unless your notes are not overlapping. But I can't think of anything else that could be causing it. Do you have erratic attacks?

I'm not sure what kind of bump you're referring to, so this is only a guess - but perhaps you're thinking of that certain thrusting, or even "clucking" sound the Clarinet legato patches produce. This is actually more of a realistic thing - some woodwinds produce a subtle key noise, so the legato transitions aren't completely soft and smooth as with strings. A subtle "bump" in the legato samples of the clarinet is mostly expected.
You could try adjusting the offset mode and slider, as explained in this video:

Somewhere around the 4:10 mark. You could of course also try ducking away slightly with CC11.

I'm getting similar results by adjusting the offset values. It is somewhat smoother, but still bumpy. Have you tried additionaly raising the attack envelope? I feel that setting the start offset to 50, start offset attack to 100 and the attack envelope to around 11 produces a slightly more even transition. Perhaps it helps getting a little closer to what you had in mind?
