Hi,
Firstly I must say I am amazed by this software, up until now I have been using Logic Pro X an old iMac with 4GB RAM for everything. After more tham about 5-6 kontakt instruments it would start to fall over neccessitating bounce in place etc.. very slow and tedious and a workflow killer.
Fast forward to today and I am curently testing the trial licence of VE Pro 5 kindly provided by Paul. I got a cheap PC (i7 2600 16GB RAM)from ebay and hooked it up. After many videos and much reading I have gotten to grips with VE Pro 5 and started to build my first template! Amazing! It took around 6-8 hours, but now I have a template running at around 100 tracks, its brilliant to be able just switch between loaded instruments at the drop of a hat!!
So to my question. After painstakingly building this template (which is saved as a project and as a Metaframe as it includes two instances), will it be a seamless transition from my trial licence over to the full licence, ie. will I still be able to use these templates I have invested so much effort in building whilst running the trial licence? I am worried that I will have to uninstall VE Pro 5 and reinstall or something, thereby losing my templates (eg if an uninstaller should remove all files pertaining to VE Pro 5 from my PC). Am I worrying needlessly or should I stop building my template now (as I am only about half way through) and wait for the full licence?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)
