    Hello to all! I need a newer mac, as it seems, for film scoring. Which is the cheapest but adequate solution among portable macs? And how 'portable' is the mac mini? P.S.: i have an ipad 16 gb, 7.0.4. (there is the option of bying a lightning audio interface as the Scarlett for recordings and transferring the whole thing -perhaps in Auria- to a mac mini). What would you suggest? Thank you all!

    The Mac Mini is portable, but then you'll have to carry a monitor around as well.

    I have a macbook pro from late 2012 with 16gb ram. Can't remember the processor etc now, I'm not at my computer atm. It takes me very far, I can load pretty much all of SE and Dimension Brass if I would want to.
