    I'm a long time user of VSL. Now I would like to clean up my studio and wonder if I can trash the old DVD's?

    The libs are:

    Orchestral Strings 1 & 2

    Solo Strings

    Chamber Strings

    Appassionata Strings

    Brass 1

    Harps

    WoodWinds 1

    Dimension Brass

    So if I in the future should need to reinstall my lib's, can I download them from the VSL website?

    Yes, you can trash the DVDs if you like. All sample content is available for download!

    Although it is nice to have the libraries available for download from your user area, you might consider copying the files to an external hard drive and using that as your 1st back up.  Then you save the step of having to download off the Internet (Internet speed, maybe your music computer isn't online so you would have to transfer the files anyway).  Whatever works for you I guess.
