  • Epic Orchestra Library Recognition with new set up

Hi, I'm a long time VEP Pro user (currently using 5). I have a new authoring Mac and I wanted to get my Epic Orchestra up and running again. I've downloaded the latest updates as of April 25, 2014 :) It's been such a long time I either can't remember or the procedure has changed. Could someone please give me a hint as to how to load Epic Orchestra into the Vienna Instruments Sample Player. It currently doesn't show anything. So to rephrase hoping to communicate better: How do I get it to navigate to the library?

  • Hi,

Did you run the Directory Manager ?

You just have to click on the "Add folder..." and browse your drive for the Epic Orchestra folder.

  • Hi Dubzee,

Also, did you make sure that your sample content is actually installed (*.dat files)?

Your downloaded installation files (*.cab files, highly compressed) have to be installed (=extracted) to become the actual sample content.

In the installation process, the location of this sample content is added to your Directory Manager automatically.

Installation should start automatically if you have not turned off the "Auto-Install" Option in the Download Manager ("on" by default).

If the sample content is not installed yet, simply click "INSTALL" in the Download Manager!

    Best,

    Paul
