    I'm new to VEP and trying to set up my template in Cubase 7.5 on Windows. I'm using 64 bit everything, but I'm wondering if there's any reason to use the 64 bit VEP plugin? From what I can tell it's impossible to access more than one plugin loaded in a single instance of VEP due to the lack of MIDI inputs with the 64 bit version while the 32 bit plugin is recognized as VST3 and allows me to select which input I want to use. Is there any way to get the 64 bit plugin to load as VST3 or another way to access multiple plugins in one instance? And if not, is there ANY reason to use the 64 bit version when the 32 bit version works fine?

    Unless you are needing to use any 32-bit plug in's,  get rid of everything 32-bit, Cubase will only try to bit-bridge it

    You should only use 64-bit VEP,  in Cubase you will see two 64-bit versions of VEP

    Vienna Ensembel Pro   ///     (note the three dashes mean VST3, this is not the 32-bit version)
    Vienna Ensemble Prox 64    (this the VST 2.4 version)

    So use the VST3 version and you can have up to 64 MIDI channels (plug in's) per instance (4 ports)

    though the VST2 version still lets you have 16 channels (1 port)

    SO does this mean the VST3 version I am seeing is actually 64 bit?
