  • Problems trying to demo MIR Pro

It's like this software doesn't want me to buy it.

So many IR's, but not one of them functioning on my machine.

  • Closed my DAW. Restarted the DAW. Still getting the same error message. Now going to restart my computer for the 10th time since I started trying to demo MIR Pro eight and a half hours ago.

  • I'll try it again in a year.

  • It did not even uninstall correctly. How can I manually delete the RoomPacks, please? The Directory Manager is not showing me where they were installed on my drive.

  • Sorry to hear about your problems. Please get in contact with VSL's support () and include as many technical details as possible (OS, CPU, host application, audio system, ...). It's quite hard to offer meaningful help without knowing all the variables. ;-) ... I'm sure that there's just a small glitch or oversight happening, as many people are using MIR Pro without running into the issue you're facing at the moment.

... the error message seems to indicate that several applications are trying to access MIR Pro. I'm sure you tried to avoid this already ...?

    Kind regards,

And I'm using many other reverbs without running into the issues I faced with MIR Pro, so I have to cut my losses and get back to work. I'll try again in a year, in case anything has changed.

I did indeed try to avoid it, by not running any applications except MIR Pro and my DAW, but even that didn't satisfy MIR Pro.

  • Well - like I wrote before: It's somewhat difficult to offer meaningful help without knowing at least _some_ basic facts about your setup (OS? Host? ... etc. ...). And it's equally important to point out that MIR Pro is not "another reverb", but more like a spatial mixing console, which needs to be treated differently in some regards.

Anyway - I really hope that you'll try again in a year (or earlier). ;-)

    Kind regards,
