Even better and simpler, if you decide to upgrade to Logic Pro X, use the new track stack to merge multiple instruments track to one audio/midi track stack. that's cool
I don't have a problem with using multiple instances of Vienna
Instruments. In fact, I was already having to do that because it's
monophonic. As far as I can tell, I have to shell out for VI Pro to get polyphony...or, at least I assume that's what is meant by "polyphonic legato" in the VI Pro features list.
I'm working on some projects that I don't want to disrupt with an upgrade to Logic X. I'll eventually upgrade when I can do it with a minimum of disruption, but for right now Logic 9 has everything I need for the projects I'm working on.
