  • PC Slave, Cant seem to find any plugins in my VEPro Instance

    Hi all, Small problem in that l have a PC loaded with Vienna ensemble pro 5 and NI Komplete 9. When l load an instance of vepro l can't seem to access any of my installed plugins (namely Kontakt) I've checked the preferences plugin tab and the only plugins there are the vsl ones that come with vepro, no NI ones??? Its probably the fact that this is the first time i've used PC's in about 13 years, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt.

    Hello Matt, 

    Did you check that the right VST plug-in folders are assigned in the VE PRO Preferences?

    Also, are you sure you are opening the right version (32/64 bit) of VE PRO?

    Hi Paul, Sorry, l can't seem to find where you assign the VST plugins folder in VEPro Preferences??? I'm using the 64bit server as all plugins in Komplete 9 are 64 bit. I'm totally new to PC's sorry to be a pain, could you explain a little more? Thanks Matt.

    Hi Matt,

    The manual is always a good companion in such situations, if I may say so [;)]

    Go to the VE PRO Server Preferences, then click on "Plug-ins" in the menu to the left. In the open window, you will find a button "VST Settings", which opens another window that lets you add, remove and rescon your assigned VST plug-in folders.
