VE Pro 5.3.13151 and Finale 2014

 Hi everyone,

 Has anyone experienced problems in loading the latest Ve pro in Finale 2014 as Vst ?

 I've got two errors:  one when I try to open a new file, everything seems tto be in place, but for some reasons there are no instances available in server interface to conect to. And a second one , with previous files , VE pro is not loading at all. When I try  to access the VE pro from VST banks in finale, there is an error sayying that the server detected an invalid version..

Please let me know if anyone has some thoughts about this ..

Hello Bogdan!

This sounds like a version mismatch between the VE Pro plugin and the VE Pro Server. Such a problem can happen when you have copied or moved the VE Pro plugin file manually and then installed a newer version. I recommend never copying or moving these files unless you know exactly what you do. Here's how I would proceed.

- Uninstall Vienna Ensemble Pro.
- Do a Windows search on your hard drive for all files called "Vienna Ensemble P*.dll" and delete them.
- Reinstall Vienna Ensemble Pro and take care to which folder you install the 32-bit VST Plugin.
- To activate Vienna Ensemble Pro in Finale, go to MIDI/Audio/Device Setup/Manage VST Plug-ins and add the Plug-in directory, where your you have just installed the plugin.

 Hi Andi,

After I followed your instructions, everything is fine now. However, I don't recall moving those dll. files....or maybe accidentally I did move them by mistake .
