[Sibelius] Is there a faster way to do left hand/right hand on the snare drum?

I'm doing this :

It seems quite time consuming when I have a full score and something like 800 snare drum hits to alternate each one by manually clicking each note and adding a "L" or "R" technique above it.

Is there a simpler workaround? Thanks.

You can use filter to put specific things on specific notes in multiple bars. However, you might find it quicker to save each particular pattern as an Idea (complete with L and R signs) then just copy and paste it as needed.

I like to randomize my snare parts a bit, just to get some realism.

There is no way to filter 'alternating notes'.

Seems it would be easier for VSL to write a script that alternated hands autmoatically when dealing with timpani, snare, etc.
