Hi all, I recently got a slave PC running Windows 7, and I am trying to connect Vienna Ensemble Pro to a MacBook Pro master computer from within Logic Express 9. After much toiling, I was able to connect the computers via ethernet so that files may be exchanged between the two computers. In VEP in Logic Express, the slave instance I set up on the PC shows up, but upon selecting connect, I get "Could not connect to (slave IP address)[32]." I really can't fathom why I am able to exchange files between the two computers over ethernet just fine, but that the connection from within VEP refuses to connect. This has held true in Digital Performer 8 as well. Oddly enough, I seem to be able to connect the two in VEP over a wifi connection, but not an ethernet connection--wifi obviously is too slow for what I'm trying to do, so I really need the ethernet to start working with VEP. Any ideas?
