    I agree with Julian concerning the percussion.

    The plucked instruments seem kind of incomplete without a good nylon guitar sampled.

    I offered my stellar human beat box skills to the VSL team at least a year ago...  I'm still waiting for that phone call guys.  Also, I do this thing with my lips and mouth that sound exactly like a zither... send me a PM.

    Yeah but are they in Hungarian Major scale?  Of course you could always fake it but aren't we tired of having to "fake it" with samples???

    I believe VSL's Concert Guitar http://www.vsl.co.at/en/211/496/721/534/728/422.htm has nylon strings.

    Dogs barking in Hungarian Major Scale is quite an interesting concept.
    I'm not sure if dog barks are pitched... if not, is there a way to "make" an unpitched barking sample into something that has a tone?

    Of the suggestions mentioned, an accordion would be really handy on occasion, and humming articulations for Vienna Choir would be magical. I'm hesitant to mention solo singers, as a lone human voice is incredibly delicate to edit seamlessly, but the VSL team did such a stellar job with the crossfades on the recorders pack that maybe there's nothing they can't do...

    I can agree with these wishes, but would like to add: noy just an accordion. This is the past. Nowadays, the modern accordion is a concertible or a bayan. There are two discants: the normal right hand discant and the left hand discant, which can be converted to a normal accordion bas system and vice versa. All modern composers use that instrument (of course, since there are so many more possibilities).

    I'd like to see the Vienna version of the new 'aleatoric' libraries that are appearing. I don't own the others (Strezov and 8DIO if it's not out of order to mention them), but I already know that, when I do, I'm going to be wanting a version that I can make sit with my Vienna stuff by simply clicking the MIRx button. Although the current offerings may be very extensive there's no straight orchestral set that corresponds to them, so it's not possible to mix up 'bread and butter' writing with Psycho moments in the same piece.

    I want everything that Ligeti, Lachenmann and Penderecki ever dreamed of - sul ponticello scrubbing, sul tasto scrubbing, harmonic glissandi, controllable multiphonics, trombones doing motorbike impressions, etc, etc.

    I totally agree with the accordion. It's currently the only instrument I am missing. There are some good VST instruments out there, http://www.ilyaefimov.com/products/keyboards/accordion.html http://virtual-acoustic.com/index.php/en/ http://www.bestservice.de/accordions.html but I would prefer a Vienna instrument. #marco
