Sorry about the typos in prevous post. I get how the X axis and Y axis works but how do you assign items to A and different Items to B to switch between with the AB Switch?
Also can the AB switch be used to switch between Matrixes? I know I can do this with Key switches but I wanted to use a footswitch to switch between two Matrixes and was wondering if the A/B switch would be able to accomplish this?

The AB Switch is only available with specific patches, e.g, dynamic patches (where it switches between cres/dim) or runs (up/down). It´s not possible to switch between matrices with the AB Switch.
To switch between matrices, you can either use keyswitches or Program Changes (0-127).
