Vienna Super Package Standard Edition vs Extended Edition
Hi All My question seems like the type of question that would have been asked and answered numerous times before now, so apologies if I'm treading old ground, but I can't find the information I want on the site anywhere. I'd like a direct comparison of the Super Package bundles. Besides the price, what are the differences between the two editions? Is there anywhere I can look at what I don't get with the standard edition compared to what I do get with the extended? What is my additional 5K EUR buying? Thanks in advance -Jiff

Hi Jiff,
Check out the SAMPLE CONTENT of all the Vienna Instruments Collections, e..g, of Solo Strings I ("Sample Content" can always be found in the menu below the product icon).
Then compare with, e.g., the SAMPLE CONTENT of Special Edition Volume 1, where all string instruments offer 8 articulations.
My suggestion, which has worked for many others: If you´re not sure what to get or don´t really want to spend the money for the big collections, stick to the Special Editions, then consider an upgrade later (with upgrade pricing, as the products you already registered are taken into account).
Best,
Paul

Hello!
Well, the other major difference between the two (besides price) is that you can't get the Extended Library without first getting the Standard Library.
In regards to detail, the Standard Library has the basic, more commonly used, articulations for the each orchestral instrument and section. The Extended Library adds more articulations, generally in regards to dynamics, performance trills, and "special" techniques.
I hope this information is of some use!
Best,
Jeff Strong

Thanks for the replies guys I guess the confusing aspect of how it's laid out on the website is that the Super Package Standard and Super package Full list the same instruments on the same page. Am I right in assuming that if I go to, say Solo Strings I, the Super package FULL will include al lthe articulations for that instrument listed under the "Extended Library" ? thanks again fellas, your time is much appreciated.
