Notion 4 and Vienna Ensemble

I'd like to try to use Vienna Ensemble with Notion 4.  I have Special Edition libraries, and I can successfully use them with Notion to get all the available articulations with VIPro instruments.  However, when I try this with VE, there are no articulations available.  I load the VI Pro instrument instances into VE and select the Notion Presets that I'm used to using, but there are no articulations.  Do I have to put presets in a special location for VE to see them?  Do I have to have VE Pro in order to use the VI Pro presets?  I'm very frustrated!

How to set up templates with Notion and Vienna Ensemble is explained in the Notion tutorial videos "Creating VST Templates" parts 1 and 2.

VI presets have to be stored in the VSL Custom Data folder or in a subfolder for Vienna Instruments (Pro) to find them. The location of this folder can be set up in the Directory Manager.
