MIRx and MIR pro 24

hello vienna instruments users! hello VSL costumer support team! just a quick "how to" question... I may like to purchase MIRx and do not have any other MIR product. In the end at some point I may like to blend my other audio tracks within the same reverb venue I use with MIRx on my vienna instruments pro... let us say I would use the teldec room environment on VIpro and I recorded some lead vocals on pro tools that I want to blend into the same room... how do I do that? ...do I have to purchase MIR pro 24 as well then? if I buy the MIRx bundle with 3 different environments ... do I have to buy these 3 environments again for MIR pro 24 too? any ideas? thank you folks! matt :-)

Hi Matt,

you´re right, you will need MIR Pro (or at least MIR Pro 24) to put any other signals than Vienna Instruments into the same Venue.

There are upgrade paths from MIRx to the respective MIR Pro Venues available:

Hi everyone (first post here!), I'd like to follow up on Dietz's response for further clarity: I already have some MIRx, say MIRx Teldex Scoring Stage. Now, if I purchase MIR Pro 24 BUT WITHOUT ANY ROOM PACKS (for the time being), will the Teldex Scoring Stage samples (which I already have on my computer) also be usable in MIR Pro 24? Or, even though Teldex Scoring Stage is all I need, will I have to upgrade to Room Pack 2? Thanks! OnderN

Hi OnderN.

The RoomPack Content is different from the MIRx Venues (which contain a fraction of the impulses contained in the RoomPack).

Here is an overview of the available upgrade prices from MIRx.

A small clarification, just to avoid confusion: The impulse responses used by MIRx are actually derived from the full-blown MIR Pro's Venues, but they are specifically exported for each single instrument. Thus, MIR Pro (24) can't use them.

hello Paul! hello vienna costumer support team! the upgrade prices this link offers are not the same I get when logging into my account although I bought the complete MIRx bundle. wether it is €155 for the Roompack1 nor €175 for the Roompack2. Could you please fix this rate issue! thanks a lot and best wishes from berlin! matt
