    I have moved VSL Special Edition to the laptop becuase I needed it for live use and although the folder for the samples is scanned in directory manager I cannot get any patches showing up.  Any ideas? 

    I am on a new 13" Macbook Pro with the samples on an external drive.  Mac OS and VSL is all the most current versions.

     Did you remove all of the folders from the DM first?  After that, you have to drag and drop the folders from the external into the DM telling Vienna where to find the folders.

    Yes I did that.  I've been using VSL for years and after changing my DAW mac and laptop I had to transfer everything.  The DAW main machine went without a hitch but the laptop refuses to see the patches.  I am going to put the samples on the internal drive just to see if it is some odd permissions issue.
