    Hi folks, I'm really impressed by the sound and the possibilities to get the real orchestra acoustic. So I want to know if I can use MIR Pro alone as a plugin in Cubase 7 to mix my East West Hollywood Play Libraries. What features do I loose, when I don't have the other VSL Instruments stuff.     Hello Resofreak,

    Yes, MIR PRO also works without Vienna Ensemble PRO, as a normal plug-in.

    This is the thread that describes how to set up a demo environment for MIR PRO.

    Not possible with MIR PRO as a pug-in:

    Automatic instrument guessing (which wouldn´t work with EW instruments anyway)

    Flexible routing options within the application (as there is no mixing option in the MIR PRO plug-in).
