I can't remember if I shared this when I put the video out but I haven't had that many views yet so here we are:
Video: Winds of Time - Peace of the Storm
I made this video using my iPhone 4s and a sony handycam and Final Cut X. I live in British Columbia and one thing we've got lots of over here is mountains and awesome places to go hiking, so I spent the day heading up to a lovely waterfall at the end of the Lynn Valley trail. The music piece is from my album "Winds of Time" and in of itself it's a piece that is quite visual representing a fantasy landscape.
Actually I wrote this piece for a friend who asked me If I could assemble some sounds of rain, wind, light thunder to help him with a sleeping problem he had. But during this I couldn't help but add a harp here .. a flute there .. and before I knew it a whole piece of music sprang to life. I enjoyed making the video and hope to make more soon. There's lots of really terrific nature here in BC and it just begs to be captured on film 😄
