Using MIR + MIRacle when using secondary mics-
I typically turn down the dry/wet offset on the main mics -20/ -30%.
Would it be common practice to also turn down the dry/wet offest on the
secondary mics by the same amounts as well to keep things consistent?
Also what be the suggested shortest time to use on NeuerSaal?
The default time is 1.60, would using a short time roughly around .5-.8 seconds compromise the way MIR works or performs?
Suggestions?

Secondary mics offset : MIR

Hi Carl,
the Secondary Microphone doesn´t offer a Dry/Wet Offset, simply because it always delivers just the wet signal (otherwise the positioning of the dry signals would get messed up). This is also reflected visually by the completely "translucent" icon of the Secondary Mic, BTW. - It _does_ offer a dedicated Volume slider, though, and personally I tend to have it at -6 to -3 dB, depending on the Venue and the chosen Main Mic setup.
When using MIRacle in a "hybrid reverb"-way (rather than just enhancing and animating the natural tail of the Venue´s reverb), any length makes sense, as long as it sounds good. Bringing it down to about 50% of the actual length seems like a good starting point. Really short values will give you the possibility to use MIR´s acoustic positioning cues only, while replacing the reverb with MIRacle (or another algorithmic reverb).
... and like you wrote, I also use a Global Dry/Wet Offset of about -30% pretty often when I use MIRacle.
