...would be great to have -MIRx Dry/Wet- into MIRx Settings «Synchronize Parameters» !
So...

In fact we had wet/dry syncronizeable.
We removed it in the final version for two reasons:
If you want to alter wet/dry just for one instrument and you forgot to desyncronize before, you mess up your whole arrangement.
(no undo possible)
Further wet/dry is controlable via midicontroller which is also contraproductive for a global syncronisation.

Hi Herb,
Had a listen to the demo version of MIRx and was impressed. My modus operandi is usually 60-90 VI-Pros which route into groups (Strings, Brass, Wind, Percussion, Choir, etc. It is at the group stage I currently apply reverb. Often it's useful tobe able to tweak the reverb level to fine tune or increase/decrease on an orchestral section for effect.
So I understand the instrument by instrument principle of MIRx but if there is any way to develope a group setting (like Logic's automation) allocate group 1 to 8 (or 16) then synchronisation would exist between same numbered groups. As fine as MIRx sounds opening 90 VI-Pro GUIs to drop the reverb a couple of dB's would be a labour of love!
Maybe Dietz can wave his magic wand!

Ha! :-) I´m just an audio guy, not a software engineer.
I understand your request, Julian, and in fact we discussed this topic quite a bit during the development of MIRx. Due to the issues Herb mentioned above, the common Dry/Wet for all instances has been omitted consciously in the end. - But let´s see what we can do about it.
Thanks for your patience,
Hi Guys,
Glad you are looking into Wet Dry Syncing. Last night I had about 25 tracks I had to change dry to wet mix on individually.not fun:) But I aslo see that if you forget to unsync.... all of them would be changed when you only want one.
Would possibly setting it up so you have to hold down control when moving the slider help with that issue? In other words holding down control while moving the slider changes all syncd Wet dry mixes and not holding down control just changes one. That we the user is reminding themself when doing this. A color change of the text would be nice as further confrimation that it's actally doing something to all instances.

If there was to be wet/dry syncing then it would be best if it could change every synced VI-Pro by the same amount (even if they have different settings) this would be the case if you want to have just a little less or more verb. Also a setting to make every synced VI-Pro the same which would be unity sync. Having both options would be the most flexible.

Hhm, I would assume, if you assign a midi controller to the dry/wet setting of MirX, you can select the corresponding tracks in your host to activate them and then change the value over the controller for all selected tracks at the same time. No need to open up every player and set by hand.
