    Hi all ,

    think of getting a MacBookPro or an iMac , for the first time ever .

    Always had MacPro's and connected two VEPRO-slaves to my MacPro Master via its 2 independent Ethernet Ports.

    I wonder if a "Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" ( Applestore Link ) gives an iMac a second independent Ethernet Port

    like on a (current) Macpro .

    Any info on this is much appreciated !
