    Ok Im new to this. I just bought Vienna ensemble pro 5. Will use it with Logic X on a mac. I installed vienna ensemle pro 5 software and only AU plugins are scanned and recognized. Is that what should happen? What about my VST plugins? Also do I need to install vienna instruments software? Thanks, Alex

    Welcome Alex!

    Yes, VE PRO 5 on OS X "only" scans AU plug-ins. VST instruments are only available on Windows in VE PRO 5.

    If you´d like to use your Epic Orchestra, you´ll also need to install the sample player, Vienna Instruments.
