Hi.
I would like to see that the DS specifically can be spread over several computers.
This has been asked before, and I never got the reason to why not.
Since I get 3 VIP licences to use on several computer, why not be able to devide the libray among several computer.
I would to be able to use one MAc mini for violins, an 2nd for Cellos, etc......
Any concideration to this request to be able spread the libraies to several computers.

You can only do that with multiple licenses of the Dimension Strings.
We don´t experience any troubles with the Dimension Strings performance from SSD drives, and that is definitely the new standard for sample playback with VI PRO. So the better choice is to get SSD drives, on a Mac Mini you could also use external drives connected via USB3, e.g., Angelbird SSD2go (just tested one of those, great performance - easy to use).
