    Hi this is my first post, so please help and forgive my lack of knowledge. I installed VE Pro 5.1 and VE Pro server, I downloaded the Epic Orchestra Now as soon as I open VE Pro 5.1, its says that VI Pro is no longer included. Question what does that mean, am I handicapped, do I need to make another purchase? Do I need VI Pro 2.0? What about the Epic Orchestra, how do I install it? Do I need VI Pro 2.0 to have access to the Epic Orchestra? User manual says nothing of these very basic setup steps. Would really , really appreciate some help Thanks in advance, JRM Ok I managed after very careful scrutiny to find that VI ( plain) is available and that it has a library installer...so next question, would it be of any benefit to get VI Pro 2.0?

    Actually the message states that regular Vienna Instruments is no longer included inside the VE Pro application. Regular VI is free, so no extra purchase is necessary. You just need to get its installer if you want to use Epic Orchestra. Of course you could consider the purchase of VI Pro as it has some rather nifty extra features, but it is in no way obligatory to start enjoying VE Pro and Epic Orchestra.
