  • Setting a link to whatever

In the Orchestration..... thread I entered my string quartet. Four parts, each has his own http;//...... copied from Box.com. To listen one has to copy and paste this http address in the search field of the browser. Isn't there some easier way to have a direct link to those parts. In other words, can I assign the link to a piece of text so that it gets underlined and directly calls for the appropriate file (in this case mp3). I already tried that now shaded link button, but somehow it didn't/doesn't work.

    Is this clear?

  • the method would be:

    - type the text you like to assign the link to (*somewonderful music*)

    - mark the text and click on the *link* symbol (change your editor preferences from text only to advanced if not visible)

    - enter the url (with http://) to the page or mp3 you like to link to

    - select *new window* if preferred (good style if link goes to another domain)

    - enter an optional title for the link

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • Many thanks. Next time I'll have anything ready for posting, I will try that.
