VE Pro 5 - Auto increment Inputs and Outputs?

Hi -

Forgive me if this is posted somewhere or in the docs - I can't seem to find it....

Is there a way in VE Pro to automatically increment the inputs and outputs of a channel contextually?

So, for example:

I set up a multi-timbral instance of Kontakt in VE Pro; I have 8 instruments, on 8 midi channels each outputting from Kontakt on a discrete audio channel; then I create 7 additional audio input channels in VE Pro; and then set the input of each to Kontakt 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and the outputs to Out 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 etc. So all inputs and outputs are ascending incrementally.

Is there a way to select the channels and drop down on the first one and then auto-apply incrementally across the remaining selected channels?

There is a way indeed. Select the channels, then pick an output for the first channel of the selection while holding Alt. This will automatically increment the outputs over all selected channels. Similarly you can hold Shift to set all selected channels to the same output. The same way of working applies to most channel settings.
