  • Need help with getting my hands on the Vienna MIR PRO demo

    Is there a place to d/l the MIR files from? I got the Vienna MIR PRO (demo license), and serial from the site after checking out with "try", but I don't see any place to d/l the .exe, .zip, or content. And I have not received the confo email.

    Ideas?

  • First of all--I just did my trial too and it blew me away, so I think you're in for a treat.  Also nice to see you over in these forums, Jeff!

    Anyway now to make myself useful: click on "User Area" in the top menu, then click "Personal Files" on the left, then "Software" at the top, then "Vienna MIR" on the left.  If this is your first Vienna product you may need to download the Download Manager too, which is also available on the menu on the left.

    I think VSL's site is well-organized enough for people who are familiar, but I believe the user experience for people who don't use their software all the time is very confusing and I'd encourage the team to think of an easier start for new users!  Anyway I hope this is helpful!

    Edit--I think this is self-explanatory, but you also need to download a RoomPack, so get a second trial of whichever RoomPack you prefer out of the four options (great orchestral halls in RoomPack 1, studio and scoring stages in 2, a bit of both in 4, and crazy beautiful churches in 3.)  The RoomPack download then becomes available in the same "Software" section, but after clicking "MIR RoomPacks" on the left.

    Thanks for your interest in our Vienna MIR PRO!

    I see that our system was not able to deliver the email with the demo license to your registered email address, it seems that there's something wrong with that email address. I can't post the activation code for the demo license in our forum, can you send us an email from another address to ?

    As for your download problem, sorry to hear about that. Please make sure that you're logged in with your registered email address in order to see the download links. You should be able to see them here. I can include the link in my reply to you if you write an email to our sales support.

    As Casiquire mentioned, don't forget to also get demo licenses for our RoomPacks, otherwise you won't be able to demo Vienna MIR PRO properly. 😉

    Then there is something wrong with your system. It delivers product info.

    I still get the server error, btw - you might want to fix that.

  • Cant d/l the trial room pack. The d/l button only has access to:

    R00_Trial-r285_web.vsldownload

    Which isnt associated with anything, and therefore does not work. Can someone tell me how to d/l the roompack please?

    Ok, it's working now. I see the Server Error was fixed, so I guess there was a server issue somewhere that has now been taken care of.

    I've downloaded mir trial and my mac cannot find the installed impulse and when I select the folder I actually see the impulse in the folder!

    I have all neccessary lincenses as well can some one help?
